Window replacement: questions
Do you keep the interior trim?
When it is sound, yes. An insert window fits inside the existing frame and the inside casing stays put. If the frame itself is rotten we tell you before quoting, and price the full-frame option next to it.
Can I mix materials?
Yes, and it often makes sense: wood-clad on the street side, fibreglass or vinyl at the back. The quote shows both so you can choose.
