OdegaardSash & Door, Tacoma

Home / About

A small firm, a sash shop and our own crew.

We started on old houses and never left them. The same people measure, build, install and come back for the walk-through. No subcontractors.

What we believe about old windows

A window in a 1912 house was built to be repaired. Many of them still can be. Others have had their day, and a well-made new window is the right call. We price both honestly and let you choose.

How we work in your house

Drop cloths from the door. One room at a time. Trim numbered and put back. Old windows hauled away. A walk-through before we leave, where you open and lock every window yourself.

The crew

  • Owner and estimator. Measures every house himself and writes every quote. name and photo
  • Lead installer. Runs installation day and the final walk-through. name and photo
  • Finish carpenter. Stops, casings, sills and the trim we keep. name and photo
  • Shop restorer. Rebuilds original sash: putty, rot repair, cords and weights. name and photo

Names, photos and years in the trade are the owner's to add. This demo does not invent people.
